The Israel-US "Master Plan" for Gaza
Now they're not even bothering to avoid German-Nazi terminology
30 October 2025
Yesterday Israel murdered more than a hundred Palestinians as revenge for the murder of a single member of the IDF who was also murdered. Hamas insists that it didn’t kill that person. This is easy to believe because we know that Israel supported by the US has been sponsoring gangs in Gaza to establish their own zones of control, attack Hamas and sow the seeds of civil war. This is necessary because in two years of genocide Israel failed to defeat Hamas and failed to completely wipe out the Palestinians of Gaza. Instead they murdered 68,000, most of them children and women, with experts estimating the figure is much more likely to total 400,000 when the rubble is killed and all murders are accounted before. As many others have noted, it’s a classic Israeli ceasefire from a playbook we’ve seen many times before: you cease, we fire. It’s entirely on Israel’s terms, with Israel supported by the US, which it controls. The fresh round of murders come on top of Israel murdering another hundred Palestinians and violating the ceasefire more than 140 times, all of this because Hamas didn’t return an IDF body because Israeli is blocking the entry of equipment that would enable Hamas to dig beneath the rubble wasteland of Gaza to retrieve some of the bodies—soldiers who were sent to their death by a genocidal apartheid regime that is now literally weaponising their remains.
Incidentally this comes on top of Israel already murdering another hundred Palestinians and violating the ceasefire if memory serves more than 140 times. All of this because Hamas didn’t return an IDF body according to somebody’s schedule. This came about because Israeli is blocking the entry of equipment that would enable Hamas to dig beneath the rubble wasteland of Gaza and retrieve some of the bodies—soldiers who were sent to their death by a genocidal apartheid regime that is now literally weaponising their remains.
In front of the Israeli embassy in Washington DC last Halloween.
To summarise: Israel controls the US and the US controls Europe including the UK. That means that UK prime minister Starmer and his gang of Lammy, Cooper and Hermer are neck-deep in genocide. They are also doing nothing to prevent Israel’s accelerated occupation and seizure of the West Bank. Least we forget, it all started under Biden.
Francesca Albanese recently published a searing report that identifies the UK along with Germany as the main enables of the genocide along with the US. An extract:
38. The United Kingdom has also played a key role in military collaboration with Israel, despite internal opposition. From its bases in Cyprus, the UK has enabled a crucial US supply line to Tel Aviv and flown over 600 surveillance missions over Gaza throughout the genocide, sharing intelligence with Israel. Flight numbers and durations, often coinciding with major Israeli operations, suggest detailed knowledge and cooperation in the destruction of Gaza, extending beyond “hostage rescue”.
The plot of what comes next if Israel, the US, the UK, and Germany get their way is also becoming clearer. Yesterday I started to watch a conversation between Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate on Grayzone live and was dumbstruck to hear them talk about the way the US administration has started to use openly Nazi-like language to describe its plan for Gaza. In particular, Steve Witkoff, speaking alongside Jared Kushner, used the term “master plan” to describe the US administration’s desire to create a Trump Riviera.
Back on 7 August I posted some thoughts on how Zionism is comparable to Nazism. Scroll down if you’re interested in the argument. It wasn’t just straightforward to come up with ten ways they are transparently comparable. It was also skin-crawlingly easy to think of ten ways in which the genocide in Gaza is worse than the Nazi genocide of the Jews. Now I have an eleventh way Israel’s genocide is worse.
Max Blumenthal and Aaron Mate broadcast a fresh clip of an interview with Witkoff.
Interviewer: Part of the plan is the rebuilding of Gaza, you’re builders, you’ve been in real estate, it’s extremely complex, tell us more about the plan, how much it’s going to cost and who’s going to award the contracts.
Witkoff: I think it’s going to cost a lot of money. The estimates are in the 50bn range, it might be a little bit less, it might be a little bit more. I happen to think that’s not a lot of money in that region. You have governments that are going to jump on in.
Interviewer: So Middle East countries are going to provide the money?
Witkoff: You’ll see European involvement and so forth. I think the challenge is going to be the beginning of this plan and how to get it going and that’s what me and Jared work on all time. The money raising is the easy part. We think that’s going to happen relatively quickly. But it’s the master plan and we’re working with a group of people who have been working on master plans for the last two years.
Interviewer: So there are plans already?
Witkoff: We have a master plan already and by the way Jared has been pushing it and we’ve been working on it
Two years takes us back to the beginning of the genocide, which occurred under the watch and with the support of Biden and Harris. Another Grayzone conversation featured a recent interview with the Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. When asked if she regretted anything she said about the genocide on behalf of the Biden administration replied, “Of course not”. She added: “I woke up every day to be proud to be the White House press secretary. I woke every day as a black woman who is queer, no-one had ever seen someone like me stand behind that lectern, it was an honour and a privilege to have that job.” At this point I should say that I’m glad to report that there’s been a very strong Queers Against Colonialism presence on the UK solidarity demonstrations.
Responding, Aaron Mate noted: “It really should be called the master race plan because that’s what they’re trying to impose on the people of Palestine.” He pointed out that Witkoff and Kushner are acting out their idea of Jewish supremacy. “Jared Kushner is not even an official in the government,” he added. “He’s just Donald Trump’s son-in-law. At least in the first term he had a title. He’s now just the new viceroy of Gaza, the investor, or as Steve Witkoff calls him, “the guy with the Master Plan.”
I recommend the show:
If you can’t get there right now, Max and Aaron went on to discuss the current reality, which you won’t read about in the corporate media. They identified how Israel, which controls 53% of Gaza, is paying off local gangs to control pockets of territory where they want to build their gleaming city, which the gangs will be paid to protect. Gradually Israel will push towards civil war and have Palestinians kill other Palestinians in a replay of the 2006 failed coup.
The problem with the plan, noted Max and Aaron, is that first Israel needs to get rid of Hamas, which so far they’ve failed to do. They accused UNRWA of being complicit in 7/10 and of mismanaging aid, forcing its shut down. The ICJ has ruled that Israel presented no evidence to justify its assault on UNRWA, which every Western nation supported, yet the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation introduced in its place has just shut down—they’ve packed their bags. Israel wanted to destroy the existing aid system to enable an Israeli siege and help empower gangs that Israel is using to control Gaza and promote a civil war. They want to inspire a dirty war. Israeli intelligence will provide the logistics on the ground.
Aaron and Max predict that the plan won’t work. They believe that the Palestinian collaborators will lose. They’ve lost again and again, so why should this change now. The Palestinian people will reject them because they’re politically sophisticated and also committed to remaining on their land. Initially Trump backed Hamas when it started to go after the collaborators following the partial withdrawal of the IDF following the you-cease-we-fire. Trump said something along the lines of, “Yeah, they’re taking care of some bad guys, that happens.” Then he was told the collaborators are working with Israel and said he’d take out Hamas if they didn’t let the collaborators continue to collaborate with Israel.
Max and Aaron suggested that the future leadership of Hamas will come from with the Shadow Brigade, which is attempting to get rid of the collaborator-gangs. They argued that they’re successfully flushing out the collaborators and they have support for this because everyone understands how the collaborators have wrecked the lives of the people of Gaza over not two years but decades. They provide intelligence that allows Israel to bomb entire families and they sell out communities. They are manipulated by cash or there’s blackmail on them. Yahya Sinwar came to power this way and the new leadership will come from this next phase. Other resistance organisations will join Hamas to defeat the Israel-backed collaborators.
They continue: Israel didn’t manage to ethnically cleanse Gaza in the last two years so why should they succeed now? There is a resilience to the Palestinians of Gaza people on the outside don’t understand. There’s also a level of political education you just don’t see elsewhere. As Max noted: “You definitely don’t see that level of political education from the key figures who propagandised for this genocide within the Biden administration.”
Everybody with half a brain cell and an ounce of humanity--and I appreciate that excludes the vast majority of Israeli Jews--knew that Israel would continue to pursue the genocide whenever it saw fit. We’re fed so much propaganda through the western corporate media’s broadcasting of Israeli/US/UK/German leaders it’s easy to believe that somehow the battle has been lost and the Trump Riveria is an inevitability. It’s not and the people of Gaza won’t allow that to happen, even if the tragedy of the genocide and the 108 years of ethnic cleansing that came before it remain indescribable. An unprecedented global solidarity movement will support them in every way we can. We will make sure that the Master Plan remains a Zionist-Nazi pipe dream. We will also never stop demanding that its perpetrators face justice, pay reparations, and cede to Palestine’s demands.
Free, free Palestine!
